The drama with Kuma aside, this has been a rough month and a half.  Both Mike and I feel down about some things.  Our lives are full of blessings and our focus is on the Savior which allows us to ride out the storms in our lives.  But still.  We feel sad and disappointed by some circumstances in our lives right now.  I would venture to say that most of life's disappointments are superficial disappointments, but I do feel like they can get piled on top of one another and eventually, superficial or not, it takes work to remind ourselves of the many blessings and of future blessings we hope for but don't see yet.  

Rather than write out all the things that are getting us down right now, I'll leave you with some pictures, taken during quiet or peaceful moments.  Sometimes I need to keep my eyes open to see them but they are there.

P.S.  Wrestling is finally over for the season.  Practices started in September and Eli is ready to be done.  His body gave a lot this year and he's ready for a rest.
