Bunny

There are bunnies all over the place here.  I know they are a nuisance for a lot of people but we have no garden to worry about so we just get to enjoy them.  The girls leave lettuce and carrots in the yard (not often) for the bunnies.  One Sunday a bunny was collecting grass and bringing it back to this huge flower pot in the front yard that I haven't bothered to plant flowers in.  It worked all day long.  Will researched bunnies and discovered that it was making a nest in the pot for its babies.  Sure enough, little tiny babies appeared in the pot a few days later.  They were tiny and adorable.  Sadly, we started seeing half-eaten babies each morning.  Just one each morning and only half of it eaten.  Kind of gross and very sad even though I know it is part of life and nature.  We wondered if the momma had eaten them as that can sometimes happen, though, I think it is pretty rare.  By the end of the week there were all gone.  There were two left and then we never saw them again.  I'm kind of hoping the mom took them somewhere else.
