Picture frames

I made these picture frames yesterday.  Mike does not like any kind of distressed, antique look so I decided to just go with a clean painted look.  I'm pretty proud of myself for making them almost entirely by myself.  Mike came out to show me how to set up some of the tools but besides that, this was my project.  I really like them and I thought it would be a nice change from all the normal picture frames I have hanging on my walls.  My living room has yellows, greys, and white mostly.  I thought maybe if I painted them a light grey it might add another pop of color.  But now that it's hanging, I'm not sure that I like the grey.  I repainted on white to compare and see which one I like.  I think I'm leaning towards the white ones.  Currently I only have two hanging and they are not arranged how I intend on them hanging.  Right now they are just hanging on existing nails because the kids were sleeping and I didn't want to disturb them.  So tomorrow I will hang them up next to each other properly.  My original idea was to hang three of them next to each other but they are pretty substantial frames so I might just hang the third one up somewhere else--my room or the craft room, most likely.  So, I'm open to opinions.  All three on the same wall or just two and grey or white?  I took pictures of them in the living room so you could see the living room and see how it would look with the other stuff in there.  (Ignore the mess)

I currently have little magnets keeping the pictures up but I don't like the yellow ones so I will need to figure out a better magnet idea.

grey or white?

These look great!!!! I like gray and white...mix it up with both. I also think more than two pics on the wall would still look great. Big gallery walls are fun.

I actually think I like the white best and that surprises me. I thought I would like the contrast with the gray but I like the white against your wall. I love these! I'll have to have you make me some. :)

I like the white. It seems to bring out the picture more. You are amazing, Adrianne, with all you can do and raising 4 children!

As I love to give opinions for things that I am not qualified to have opinions about... I would say I like the white. It draws more attention to the image and not the frame.

I agree with Tana! Use both colors and all three of your frames.
