Love Day, Temple Day, Snow Day

This month has been good.  I've got a bunch of random pictures with captions to post.

The boys enjoyed Valentine's day.  I made them heart-shaped pancakes and they woke up to find valentines in their mailbox outside their door.  They spent a few nights getting their valentine's together.  Even Eli got to take some to his Preschool co-op.  I love that they wanted to include Piper in their planning.  She is already so spoiled and wants to be wherever the fun is.
We have six bookshelves--two huge ones and four small ones.  Two of them are filled with picture books.  Now that we have readers in the house we needed a bookshelf for our kid chapter books.  Will has read the majority of these books already, some multiple times.  He is currently on Harry Potter number four.  Isaac is reading The Hobbit (very slowly).
Another of cute Piper
I can't believe how big Will is looking.  He's turning 8 this next month!
We tried getting a babysitter so we could go to the temple.  We planned on doing taking turns with the baby but couldn't find a babysitter for the boys so we decided to take everyone and just spend some time walking around.  The boys had never been to this temple so we thought we should take them up and let them see the Denver temple.  It was freezing so we didn't last long.  The boys wanted to stay longer but it was getting dark and cold.
Piper is hiding in there somewhere.

It snowed this week and the boys had two snow days.  It's been pretty dry this entire winter so it was a nice change.  I wanted to take the boys sledding but it is too cold for the baby.  Mike decided to make this awesome snow slide for the boys.  They worked on it for hours and played on it for hours.  They were outside either working on it or sliding down it from about 10 AM to 5 PM.  They had such a great time.  I love that Mike does these types of things for the boys.  He is such a good dad.  We are going to miss him so much when he deploys.

How did you control the snow slide exit so everyone wouldn't ram into the trampoline?

We made a similar sled run and I had to build it to avoid the fire hydrant.
