A reminder of our service project

Dear family and friends,

This is just a quick reminder that our family service project is coming soon.  Our plan is to deliver items to the Children’s hospital on Laila’s birthday, May 2.  Our family has made some baby blankets and will donate some toys and art supplies and other items on the children's wish list to the Children's Hospital here in Colorado Springs.  If you are interested in participating in our service project you can check out a this link for ideas for what to contribute.  If you live in Colorado Springs we just ask that you deliver the items you wish to donate to our home the last week of April (or, we'd be happy to pick them up from you).  If you do not live in Colorado Springs and wish to participate you can email me or leave a comment and I can tell you who to deliver your items to.  Or, you may donate to PayPal and we will make sure that money goes directly towards an item for the Children’s hospital.  We hope no one feels pressured to participate but we want to invite anyone to participate that feels so inclined.

We also want to take the opportunity to thank those of you that have already participated. We appreciate the donations already made through PayPal and we are aware of many service projects taking place already—an indoor triathlon with proceeds going to SIDS research, blankets being made, kits to be donated to the hospital in Oklahoma City, as well as burp cloths and bibs being donated to the Children’s hospital in Dayton.  Whatever the service may be, whether it be participating in our project or something else is appreciated.  We are so pleased to see so many people that we love finding ways to serve those around them in Laila’s memory.  Thank you for your support and love.

The Richards Family
