New Game: Indian Cookbooks
I'm starting a new game. It's mostly for people in the family, but the rest of you can play, too. Here are the rules:
1. I buy you a Indian cookbook (if you're one of my siblings or in-laws, the rest of you can buy your own or get one from the library).
2. You select two recipes from the the book and post the names so other people won't make the same recipe. Then, you make recipes.
3. You post pictures of the dishes on Better than Burnt Toast (or, if you don't have access to that blog, post them on your blog and let us know and we'll link to your blog).
4. Post the recipes (see here for questions on recipe copyrights -- I understand this to basically say you can write the ingredients, but the instructions/hints should be written in your own words)
5. Post a review of the recipes and the cook book as a whole. I want to know what you think of the food, how difficult it was to make, would you make it again, what would you do differently, etc. As for the book, is it nice, easy to read, a good index, are the hints (if there are any) helpful, etc.
6. The book is yours to keep if you use it. If you don't ever use it, you have to give it back to me the next time you see me.
That's the game. I'll list the players and the books they are using as soon as I order them. If your a non-family member player, let us know which book you're using and we'll list you, too.
