Will's birthday cake
Tomorrow Will turns five! We will have more birthday pictures later but here is the cake he gets tomorrow. He requested a graveyard cake. He also wanted a ghost but I left that off. I'm not sure why my son is so weird that he wants a graveyard cake but he just loves skeletons and zombies and cemeteries. I wanted to put a fence around it but I got lazy and decided I didn't want to spend the time figuring out the fence. I also wanted the guy standing and digging but couldn't get him to stay standing and finally, I wanted the skeleton to be crawling out of the grave but that didn't work very well either. So instead it just looks like the guy dug the skeleton up. Oh well. It reminds me of Will and how he asks me all the time why we can't go dig skeletons up at the cemetery so we can see what a real skeleton looks like. I hope Will likes his cake--he's probably the only five year old in existence to ask for a creepy graveyard. He should have been born in October.

Thanks! So you are from my parent's ward? Do you know Gillian and Katilin? Have we met before? I never lived in their ward but I've visited the ward a few times. I saw from your profile that you are a writer?
Yeah, I'm a writer. I've finished two novels but both were beyond the help of editing. It's been about two years since I finished the last one, but now I'm working on a new novel I have a lot more hope for. One of the reasons I like your blog is that you and your husband both write! Which is fun. :)
