Old ladies bowling

Mike finished finals last week and now has a small break before school starts again on Monday.

Today we decided to take the boys bowling. It was their first time bowling and they were really excited. I was excited to take pictures of them in all their excited cuteness. We got to the bowling alley and probably 8 lanes were taken by old ladies. I'm not exaggerating by old--these ladies were like in their 70's and 80's. I thought, "Oh how cute. They are having a little old lady hang out at the bowling alley."

After we got situated on our lane and Will started bowling I started clicking away taking pictures. The manager walked up and said, "Excuse me, we have a bowling league playing right now and the flash bothers them so if you wouldn't mind turning off your flash...." Well, I was annoyed. But then, I guess if you are 80 any flashing light might confuse you into thinking it's the light at the end of the tunnel and we don't want that, do we?

That is some serious bowling I guess. I hope when I'm 80 I still feel such passion for something.

I only got two high quality pictures of our whole experience. I'm posting them anyway and I hope you don't get motion sickness looking at them.

Nice "light at the end of the tunnel" comment! Hilarious! Who knew an old ladies bowling league would be so grouchy?

Looks like everyone had fun though!

The light at the end of the tunnel was hilarious! Sorry you couldn't take more photos but who knew 80 year olds would be there. Holy cow!
It looks like the kids had a great time.

How fun!! I am so glad we will all be getting old around the same time so none of my family can call me old while the rest of you are still young. We'll have to meet up and do old lady thing together!
Oh, and yeah Mike!! for finishing finals. Now you are that much closer to being done.
