Exhaustion is a four letter word
Boys.
I asked Eli why he was crying and he said, "Daddy. Said. NO!" Oh, he just can't stand to have his Daddy mad at him! Eli is a piece of work. He keeps me on my toes.
Then these boys....
I asked them why they were "fighting" and they said, "So when we are older and superheros we will know how to save the world." Then they asked me how to train Diamond to be strong so he could be their superhero sidekick.
I'm not going to lie, my favorite time of the day is quiet time when I can put the red-headed imp down for a nap and put a show on for the boys. Then I can hide away in my room doing whatever I please (which is usually folding laundry, but sometimes it's something I want to do).
One day I am going to walk into my empty, quiet house and I am going to crave the noise. I know it will come too soon and it will be a sad day.

Love the pictures of Eli!
It's so hard when they are young to find your time. Make sure you make time for yourself somehow, like a spa appointment, or class you can take, or a night out, this way the hard days will be easier to handle knowing you have something to look forward to later.
Cherstin, isn't this a fun time in the lives of our children? I am going to miss all the superhero talk when they get older.
Michelle, isn't it going to be sad when Caleb graduates and then Daniel so soon afterward? What are you going to do?
