Post-Birthday Post

Okay--here are the presents and the cake. Lance, we didn't take any pictures of dinner, but it was good.
And, just to clarify for the many people who have supposed that my work is graciously letting me have this time off with my family--I'm using my regular leave to help out with the new child. I've been saving up for this very purpose.

Sweet cookware, yo! Does this mean he now expects you to cook more?

The cake looks yummilicious and I love the boys' hairdo's. -Jess

Nice gifts!! Cake looks so good! I'm impressed.
I wanted to comment on the boys hair, too. They look so cute and clean. I forget about the boys having hair until we are out somewhere and I realize they have serious bed head. You all look great! Glad your day was good.

Mike did GREAT with the awesome cookware! We love our stainless set, but mine's not as nice as yours! Stainless steel cookware heats much faster too. And yes, the boys and cake look great. I need your cake recipe. Wait. Did I just say I "needed" a cake recipe? I need more sweets like a bullet in my head! Why do I like sweets more the older I get?
Jess, what are you saying, I don't already cook most of the meals? You want the recipe for the cake?

Mandy, Mike buzzes the boy's hair and I hate it. I am always excited when their hair gets long enough to style but I forget most of the time so my boys usually have yucky hair.

Chelsey, I'll send you the recipe. It is so good and so easy. Mike made it all by himself...well, my friend Ali was here and she unwrapped the ice cream sandwhiches.
