Besides the photos from our vacation in Pagosa Springs, these are the only photos I took in March. March was a good month, full of time together as a family. For Christmas Piper asked for tickets to the John Michael Howell concert. Both Felicity and Eli like him too so we bought tickets for the entire family. Unfortunately, Eli has been getting headaches (sometimes migraines) a lot this past year and when he came home from school he felt miserable. We all debated if we should leave him home but none of us wanted to go without him and he didn't want to miss it. He came with us anyway but only made it through the first song before he had to go out to the car. He called his girlfriend and she kept him company on the phone while we were in concert. He said he got really emotional at one point thinking about how he wanted this to be a core memory that the girls had with him before he left home and how sad he was not to be able to be in there with them. That kind of broke my heart. Piper and Felicity loved the concert. Piper said it was the best night of her life. Everyone was sad about Eli though.
Eli and Abbi went to Sadie Hawkins. There isn't much to say about it other than that it was a early 2000's theme and they had a hard time finding clothes and figuring out the style for the dance. They were cute, as were their fun friends that went with them.
Finally, St. Patrick's Day. I wouldn't exactly say that they all dread St. Patrick's day but they certainly have to gear up for the teasing. They mostly just laugh along or give it right back but they definitely get dumb jokes about leprechauns and rainbows. I love my redheads.
