Bre and Castlewood Canyon

My good friend Bre came for a visit.  I haven't seen her since I moved from Colorado Springs because I moved to Tennessee and she moved to Alice Springs, Australia.  Bre is an incredible artist and has painted two treasured painting for my family.  I put her to work teaching the younger kids an art lesson.  She taught them how to draw faces.  After, we headed to Castlewood Canyon for a hike.  There was still lots so snow but the weather was beautiful and the kids loved breaking all the ice.  We tried one hike but had to turn back because the steps were all iced over.  It was good to spend time with her and I love that she made the time to come see us before heading down to Colorado Springs.
