Lake Laura
After a long day at the lake...
Eli and Isaac played here at the beach area the entire time.
Probably our favorite day with the kids was Thursday. Thursday morning we headed to the lake. We got there a little before it opened so we went for a short hike. We let the boys try out the paddle boats and they all enjoyed that. Will wanted to jump off and go swimming--he is so brave in the water--so he was out in the middle of the lake while we were on the boat. He was more excited about swimming than the boat so we headed back and let Isaac get on and let Will go swimming. Isaac and Eli were afraid of the water so they spent most of the time at the little beach area at the lake. It was perfect for them. Then they headed down to the dock and tried to catch fish. Isaac just squealed with laughter when one of the fish tried to nibble his toes. That creeps me out. I am not a lake person so I had to just pretend there weren't fish swimming all around out and then it was fine. We stayed at the lake until we were all starving and tired but even then the boys still didn't want to leave.
Here they are trying to catch the fish
I was never as brave as Will in the water--I still am not as brave in the water as Will, but he doesn't need to know that.
Grandpa was so nice to swim Will out to the floating docks

Will reminds me of Gabe in the water...totally fearless. That's awesome.
