Sneak Peak

Here is a sneak peak of Laila's room. There is still a lot not done in her room but what I have done so far is making me happy.

The butterfly picture looks too high for me but Mike says it's just right. What do you think? Should I put it a little lower on the wall?

My favorite picture. It's so sweet and feminine. One of my dearest friends painted it for me, for Laila really, and I love it. I thought I had lost it during the move and I was distraught about it. But, lots of prayers later, I found it today in Isaac's scrapbook. Mike said he thinks he put it there to keep it flat so it wouldn't get ruined and then forgot. Phew. I hated the thought of losing it.

I just got the dresser done today...well, mostly done. I still need to put the handles on as you can see. Mike's mom gave us this dresser back in December (?) and Mike said it used to be his so I thought it would be the perfect little thing to pass on to Laila. Also, the crib is painted but Mike has to put it together for me.

That's all for now. As more gets done in the room, I'll post more pictures.

I love the handpainted picture--I want one too!
If only I had known she would have dark hair...The painting job on the dresser looks fantastic. Love the blue walls!!

I think the butterfly picture is a little too high, too, but wait until the mobile is done and crib up to see how it looks together.
It's coming together very well. (I notice that you didn't take a photo of large area where I dumped about a 1/3 of the gallon of paint on the carpet.) I'm still traumatized over that one! I hope it doesn't look too obvious.
The room is cute - I love the color. Did you get the part of the wall down by where the crib will go touched up? You may not notice it, but there are a couple of places there that need a touch-up.
Love the dresser. It looks great!
Mom, you can't even tell where it was spilled. Stop worrying about it!!
