Recipe for a good night's sleep
This is a Richard's family secret recipe.
1. A warm body next to you in the form of your husband
2. An infant that is NOT teething
3. A toddler that does NOT rock in his sleep and wake everyone up
4. A toddler that can go to the bathroom by himself in the middle of the night (multiple times)
5. An empty bladder
6. Toddlers that don't have bad dreams
7. Warm blankets/pj's
8. Sinuses that are clear and a throat that doesn't hurt
9. A mind clear of all the daily happenings and to-do lists for the next day
Mix all the ingredients together in no particular order and you are sure to have a great night's sleep!

Marcy, I've been thinking about you a lot this week because Mike has been out of town. Not only is it harder to sleep when he is gone but I also feel so exhausted by the end of the day and I don't know how single moms get through every single day with no help. It is amazing how just a few hours of help a night make such a huge difference.
Brooke, some nights we have all them perfect but most nights we are waking up with one of the boys for some reason. I think we are up for some reason at least three times a night. Our kids rarely come get in bed with us but usually stand outside our door crying for us. We will email Mike our address because I think Mike (my Mike) will tell me I shouldn't put personal information like that on the blog....Air Force doctrinization. Doesn't he know that is all I put on this blog? Personal things? Anyway, I'll send it on.
