Pre-Christmas festivities

We put out food for the reindeer again this year. Yes, it was very cold outside and my boys don't have shoes on (or socks on Isaac for that matter).
Stealing candy from the candy train.

We let the boys watch The Polar Express for the first time on Tuesday night. They loved it. After, we made a Polar Express candy train (except it isn't a passenger train but whatever). Mike added the alien with the long red arms. The boys ate so much of the train by the next day that we took it apart and hid it from them.

I like the idea of the train rather than a Gingerbread house. How is it made?

I love the train! You expanded it and made it a lot bigger than the ones I've done. It looks yummy!

Marcy, It's pretty easy. We just use any candy we want and make the train part out of candy bars. We use frosting to stick the pieces on.

Mom, Mike made it that long! It makes us look like candy addicts. Last years wasn't quite so long. But then, we wouldn't have "chocolate sludge" if it weren't so long.
