Random things from the last week and today

1. My new best friend: Tums! Is it bad to go through more than ten a day?
2. We have a nursery again!
3. We watched the movie Becoming Jane this weekend. It made Mike depressed and I didn't like it.
4. I completely forgot that it was St. Patrick's Day. This is like the third year in a row I've forgotten. Does that make me a bad mom? I guess we can always have green milk tonight and peas with whatever else I decide to make.
5. I finished decorating the baby's room. Maybe I'll post pictures of it sometime but it's nothing to get excited about.
6. When I was in Utah living with my brother and his wife for six weeks my sister-in-law Jen showed me how to make those burp cloths with crocheted edges. This was when I was newly pregnant with Isaac. I didn't know his sex yet so I made a girl one (it turned out so cute!) and started a boy one but never finished it. So I found it today and finished the crocheting. The only problem is I can't remember how to end it. I can't just tie it off. If you read this Jen, will you remind me how to finish it?
7. We finally got a remote to the free surround sound Mike got from a friend at work.
8. Mike visited an Asian food market and bought really random things from there. He let the boys both choose two food items. Needless to say, we now have very interesting ingredients for things we most likely won't eat. He did however buy 14 oz of cumin, and we both really like that spice. It's like the everything spice. Well, we eat a lot of Mexican food.

When I was pregnant with Austin I asked one of the doctor's that I worked with how many tums was too many. He said that I could probably eat 20 a day without any problems.

When I was pregnant with Ryan my doctor recommended that I take Pepcid. I actually found Pepcid complete (Pepcid with Tums that you can chew). I found that I only needed to take like 2 of those a day!

I like on those nasty things when I am pregnant. The kids always caught me eating them and they ask for them, too. I can't understand why they want them.

Yeah for nursery!!!

I love those fancy little burp clothes. We have girl ones and boy ones. Jacob uses them all, he is such a spitter upper. Maybe you could show me how to crochet someday... if we are ever in the same place at the same time.

I didn't like that movie either! I'm glad to find somebody else who agrees with me because there aren't many of us :)

I'd love pictures of the nursery. I bet it's cute. Also, are you still working on that animal wall art? No pressure but I'd love to see that too.

Hopefully you take requests :

Are you finishing the first row or the second row?
Jessie, I think I'll go buy some Pepcid today. I ate some crackers before bed and that seemed to help. I heard that crackers are good because they soak up the acid. Is that true?

Mandy, having a nursery again is wonderful. It was such a pain to have both boys every Sunday.

I need my sister-in-law to help me. She showed me how to start the burp cloth and now I forget. I had it already started and just had to finish it. And now I can't figure out how to finish it. I love them though.

Katie, I will post pictures. I didn't do much, just put some stuff on the walls. But that is a big improvement. It was just a bare room. I finished the animal mural awhile ago. It makes the room so fun.

Jen, I only did one row on the boy one. The girl one you showed me how to do those little ruffle things but this one I just did one row. I have to get good at it before I can try the second row. Also, can I only buy those at The Quilted Bear or do they sell them other places? I haven't seen them out here. Anyway, I remember you had me thread it through the string but how do I get it to stay? Oh man, I wish you lived near me so I could come see.
